Under common law, you have the right to self-help which means we are able to remove the travellers on your behalf without the need of involving the courts.
Once you have instructed us to evict the travellers on your behalf we will send one of our Certificated Enforcement Agents – formerly known as Bailiffs – to the site on the same day. If we are instructed late on we may request that the serve is done first thing the next morning.
What service do you require?
We will attend the site within 2 hours of your request (if instructed late we may request early the next morning) and make contact with the trespassers. We will serve all adults on site with a Notice to Leave. Our Enforcement agent will then advise the travellers they have till the next morning to vacate the site peacefully. The Enforcement agent will then fill out a risk assessment and full report with recommendations on how to move forward, this will be sent to you for your approval when a course of action is agreed we will then put plans in place for a full eviction to take place should the travellers refuse to leave.
Should you need the travellers moving on from your land the same day we can assist with this in a similar way. We will attend the site within 2 hours of your request (if instructed late we may request early the next morning) and make contact with the trespassers. We will serve all adults on site with a Notice to Leave. Our Enforcement agent will then advise the travellers they have to leave immediately with the only time given to pack their belongings and leave the site. If the travellers refuse to leave the site we will liaise with police (to prevent a breach of the peace) and use tow trucks to remove the traveller’s vehicles from your land.

Squatting in a residential property is a crime and the Police should assist in their removal.
If there are people illegally squatting in your Commercial premises, a Possession Order may be required. Although this may sound daunting we can assist in obtaining this and then have it immediately transferred to a writ, reducing the time that the squatters are costing you money.
We will then instruct our High Court Enforcement Agents to carry out the eviction, with the assistance of the Police and other specialists if required. Using our locksmiths we will gain entry to the property as quickly and safely as possible. Once entry has been made we will advise the squatters they need to pack their belongings and leave immediately. Rest assured that if the squatters refuse or resist removal we will remove them using reasonable force.
Once all squatters are out of the property our locksmiths will make sure all the access points are secure to stop unauthorised personnel re-entering the property. We are then able to offer you security services (both manned and electronic systems) so you have the ability to sleep safely in the knowledge your premises are once again yours, as well as safe and secure.
